As a freelance travel writer, Debbi Kickham continues to focus on luxury goods and the upscale marketplace, reporting about everything from fashion to presidential suites at resort hotels, to the world’s best briefcases.

Another of her stories, written to include her expertise about the cruise industry, has appeared in numerous publications and is entitled “The Ten Commandments of Luxury Sailing,” with 10 tips on how to make your cruise more sybaritic and fun. She always includes info such as “Thou Shalt Order Hot Fudge Sundaes in the Hot Tub” and “Thou Shalt Love Thy Pillow Menu,” as she tailor-makes the article pertinent to each individual cruise line.

Maxima Marketing President Debbi Kickham have sailed on assignment on all the luxury cruise lines including Silversea, Azamara, Regent Seven Seas, Crystal, and Seabourn, as well as premium lines such as Holland America, Norwegian, Princess and Windstar, and mega ships such as those on Royal Caribbean. She also lectures about her business and travel books on cruise ships, to enthusiastic audiences.

Concerning destination weddings, Maxima Marketing has written about how to plan your destination wedding for all kinds of global destinations including cruise ships, Bermuda, Thailand, Hawaii, Boston and at all-inclusives in Jamaica. We are especially adept at finding unusual angles to these stories, and discussing luxury-for-less options such as creating your own signature cocktail at your wedding reception, or giving personalized M&Ms as wedding favors.

On a personal note, Debbi Kickham and her husband Bill have enjoyed—and written about—their very own marriage vow renewals, in Bermuda, Maui, and aboard the cruise ship Paul Gauguin in Moorea, as well as on Regent Seven Seas Cruises in the middle of the ocean.
