SIGNATURE TAG LINES GONE WRONG

I routinely create signature tag lines for companies, in addition to being an expert at product naming, copywriting, and marketing for plastic surgeons, hair salons, cosmetic dentists and skincare salons. I excel at marketing strategies.

It’s always smart to create a smart signature tagline to advertise and market your business. And just so you know what not to do, here is a list of cities, which the magazine Advertising Age said had the worst signature taglines. Are you ready? Buffalo, New York’s motto is Buffalo. For Real. What does that mean? Strong, Maine, is known as The Toothpick Capital of the World. Walla Walla, Washington’s claim to fame is, “The city so nice they named it twice.” Lodi, California calls itself, Liveable, Lovable, Lodi.” Atlantic City, NJ markets itself as “Always turned on.” It kind of makes me afraid to go there. It all makes me favor a simple, smart tourism message – such as Belize: Mother Nature’s Best-Kept Secret. And I Love New York. Yes, It really does make me want to visit.
