In her career, Ms. Kickham has made hundreds of media appearances, on behalf of her clients, and her books. Her first book, I Love Men in Tasseled Loafers: How To Judge Men By Their Shoes© was published in 1988 by Quinlan Press. To attract media attention, Ms. Kickham partnered with the well-known Allen-Edmonds shoe company, which provided her with empty shoes boxes for men’s shoes.  An early example of her unique creativity, Ms. Kickham wrote her own press releases, rolled them up, tied them with actual leather laces with tassels, and inserted them into the shoe boxes along with her book.  She sent these “press kits” out to the media and received overwhelming media attention as a result.
